The Flight

sesungguhnya realiti itu tidak indah;

you spread your wings and take of
just like any other day

your heart pounding, excited for
your home, or an adventurous new place

a mother tucks her daughter in
while a boy tries to get the new high score for 2048
the pretty lady walks by one more time, offering juices and tea
and a man flips through his guide book, trying to understand a new catch phrase


you turn of your reading light,
and try to find a comfortable position to sleep in
knowing that after 6 or 7 hours you will be arriving.

you close your eyes,
and hope
that by the time you open them again
you would be able to hear the sound of the wheels rolling out.






but this time you hear a different sound.


and you wake up.



only to find out that you are going back to sleep.
