Resolutions

Is it too late to still wish Happy New Year? Well it should be considering that we only have 10 days left in this fresh new month that is supposed to be all about starting anew. Then we revert back to the normal in-between months where days and weeks seem to drag on forever.

Oh, and I should note that it is 2019 now. Not 2017, or 2018, as the previous post might have led you to believe. I’m sure I did not dissapoint anyone (but myself) for skipping these two whole years. to be honest, I myself wasn’t sure where the time was going. I knew I still wrote. Just mainly in my leather Midori-traveller’s notebook instead, and not on the computer. Even if I wrote on my computer it was all academic based papers and nothing creative. These days people like reading fast, short, straight-to-the-point type of things so I prefer to write privately for myself. I don’t think people

However it is a New Year. Thus, it calls for a New Resolution. Since I’ve been on a two-year hiatus with this, why not come back and bring some life into this dusty old place. Perhaps a new makeover too? But I’ve alway been a minimalist and this seems to easily spark joy to me. Oh well. Not to forget its the words I wrote here that actually gave me an interview for my first job. So let’s not take things for granted.

This year will evidently be a year of change. Plenty of change. Good or bad, it soley depends on how we choose to react to those changes and determine if they will ultimately lead to our growth or spiral down into stagnant waters.

Considering that this is just a warm up, I shall keep this short and sweet. Its funny how I have been pampering myself to always cut my words short to 280 characters that I find it troubling to write longer sentences. Tsk.tsk.

So here, here 2019. I hope I’ll be able to react as best as I can to all the things you have prepared for me.
