crossroads
sesungguhnya realiti itu tidak indah;
Are you a frequent reader of my blog?
did you notice underneath my blog title, i have a catch phrase
"you can't change the situation, but you can choose how you want to deal with it"
throughout my 21 years of life, i've faced different kinds situations.
just like any normal Malaysian kid would have.
exams. peer pressure. friends. relationships.
and when we are in these tight spots that we usually complain, and angst out
"why me?"
"this is unfair"
it takes time for the reality to sink in, that most of the time, what happened was supposed to happened.
there was no avoiding it, and it was meant to happen whether we like it or not.
so what do we do then.
continue to angst out. be sad.
its alright to be sad. its alright to cry.
but once your done crying, you need to pick yourself back up.
the situation will not change.
no matter how much you cry.
no matter how much you complain.
what you can do, is choose how you want to deal with it.
you can choose to cry.
or you can choose to get up and do something about it.
i actually got this quote from a favorite movie of mine.
50/50.
can you imagine if you had cancer?
what would you do then?
what would you do
