anni
sesungguhnya realiti itu tidak indah;
when you see people posting about their anni.
it would usually be flowers, a romantic dinner, taking a walk somewhere together.exchange of gifts maybe.
something sweet.
sure i've had my share of relationships, but i've yet to have an anniversary like so.
yet i've always pictured my anni to be like the ones in the movies too. just like most girls do.
i had my first anni last Saturday.
and sure enough it was not the one i pictured it to be.
we planned a picnic.
but it started raining.
so we went to a sports center instead.
we played basketball, badminton, archery, batting.
we roller-skated and i fell on my ass.
we played shooting and racing games at the arcade.
we karaoke'd.
it was a funny way to spend it.
at the end of the day, we bought Mr. Donut and sat near the pier.
it was FREEZING, and dark.
but he insisted that about the romantic picnic.
and that was the romantic picnic.
eating donuts in the cold wind near the sea.
there were no flowers.
no romantic dinner.
no gifts.
it was just the two us.
laughing all the way.
happy that we made it to a year.
even though it wasn't the one i pictured it to be,
it sure was the best way i've spent my anni.
so here's to us cookie monster.
and hopefully for to a lot more days, of laughing with you.
